- Fixed an issue where adding note links with @ made the cursor disappear from the note.
- Fixed a bug where the cursor wasn't correctly focused in the new note when creating a new linked note.

It's not worth much if you can't access the app. If you get locked out, it can be a nightmare to gain access again, if you can get back in at all. So not worth the money, really. OneNote does a lot of what Evernote does, and for free.

Awful. I got locked out of my account due to the fact that I no longer use nor have access to an old phone number. Evernote won't help me reset the phone number to my new one. I even sent them a scanned copy of my driver's license in a desperate attempt to convince them to allow me to gain access to my data. No chance. So now I use OneNote, which is free.

Having used Evernote for nearly 15 years, I acknowledge its strengths as a note-taking application, offering organisation through notebooks and tags. This facilitates both efficient note capture and easy retrieval, even for older entries.
I consider 3 issues with Evernote:
1. The premium version, which allows the seamless use of the application across different devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad...) and different operating systems (Mac, PC, Android) is in my opinion too expensive (100€/y for a personal subscription).
2. Due to a never-fixed-bug, the application doesn't work well off-line: some notes are not available off-line, which suggests some synchronisation issues.
3. Despite not fixing the aforementioned big bug, the developer tends to multiply the number of "small and useless" updates.
Based on these considerations, I think that alternative softwares will bring more value at a lower price.

The app used to be fast and streamlined. Lately it's become bloated and slow. The main window is way too busy and confusing. The app takes forever to start up on a fast M1X MacBook Pro. The premium version with sync is expensive for what it does. However, for me, the web clipper extension makes it worth all the down sides.

Evernote, these days, is quite an amazing app. A few years ago there was a transition in the development of things, but Evernote been back on track for several years now with very quick updates and improvements. I couldn't be more pleased with how it has matured. During the questionable years I tried every alternative. Nothing comes close to the excellence and ease of use of Evernote. Reminds me of Apple's bad years when they lost Steve Jobs. Evernote is back and better than ever.
